The staff proved helpful. Mr Rasim especially stood out. I got a sports massage after some training. This indeed aided my preparation.

The walls were advertised as soundproof though this was not true. Noise came from nightclubs behind. The jacuzzi did not function. No one ever came to turn it on despite promises.

the staff was helpful. i want to thank rasim at the reception for the room upgrade. mehmet ali was also very helpful (appreciated this). the location is great with istiklal street and taksim square close by. dining options were excellent due to the location.

the bathroom floor was not washed upon my arrival. it remained unwashed for four days. stains persisted on the floor throughout my stay.

i REALLY enjoyed the location. It was close to the metro and bus station. the Turkish bath and sona were wonderful after the marathon. our room got cleaned every day. breakfast WAS awesome.

the rooms are small and confusing. a receptionist named ismail was rude. i think they should fire ismail ASAP.

the room i booked , a superior double or twin room, faced an interior wall. this meant very little natural light entered the room , even during the day. the inadequate lighting. the bathroom had a persistent sewage smell.

the windows are old, cold gets in easily. water collected in the shower stall because the beams couldn't cope. i did had to change rooms

I experienced warmth and really good hospitality at the hotel. Jahangir's kindness and attentiveness. He were great too ensure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The staff takes pride in providing an really good guest experience, which I certainly noticed.

The soundproof walls were not effective, so there was some street noise at night.
